BigData applied to production Map-making with Spark

Abstract: The presentation will focus on sharing real life problems where a big data approach applies and, more specifically, we’ll look at map making activities, at the why and how a big data approach is suited for building maps at scale. We’ll talk also about the advantages but also the tradeoffs and challenges you need to consider when building big data solutions.
