Announcement regarding the administration of academic activities for the academic year 2023/2024

  1. On Monday, October 2, 2023, the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science will celebrate the beginning of the academic year 2023-2024 by specialization.
  2. Students of the first year of study:
    On the date of registration, October 2, 2023, candidates declared admitted to the admissions competition for the July and September 2023 sessions are given the status of student. In order to access the AcademicInfo platform, users will be able to recover their account directly from the AcademicInfo page: https://academicinfo.ubbcluj.ro/ beginning on September 19, 2023, a week earlier than the date shown on the platform. How to: If the candidate selects the circled button, their CNP will remain, and their password will not be reset. In this case, they will essentially only receive the user.
  3. The study contracts for the academic year 2023/2024 are completed in the AcademicInfo application at the following URL: https://academicinfo.ubbcluj.ro. Contracts are exported/listed and manually or digitally signed. Students will be able to transmit scanned study contracts to the AcademicInfo platform between September 20 and September 30, 2023. The listed contracts will be presented at the inauguration festivities on October 2, 2023.
  4. At the beginning of the academic year on October 2, 2023, the study contracts will be listed and handed in.
  5. The student card and transport discount card are issued to first-year students at the inauguration festivities of the academic year. Students are required to bring two photographs measuring 2.5 centimeters by 2 centimeters. The photos will be trimmed to the requested dimensions and set in an envelope containing the following information: name and surname, specialization, language of instruction, and year of study, with the student’s name written on the back of each photo.
  6. Tuition fees for all f enrolled first-year students: For students who must pay tuition fee differences due to transferring to a different specialization, payments can be made online in the AcademicInfo application beginning on October 4, 2023. The first installment is due by October 15, 2023, the second installment is due by December 5, 2023, the third installment is due by March 15, 2024, and the fourth installment is due by May 5, 2024.
  7. Students enrolled in two specializations simultaneously are eligible for the tuition fee reduction. In this regard, they can submit a request to the secretary of the specialization via email by October 13, 2023, along with the student transcript from the other faculty.   8. Student certificates will be issued to all students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science beginning on October 3, 2023. The following is the procedure for obtaining a student’s certificate: The student enters all personal information and the reason for the request in a Google form located at https://forms.gle/JGkey1YjDghGQbGF6, after which the administrative staff issues the certificate, which is scanned and sent to the student’s specified email address. If a student requires multiple certificates, the form will be completed multiple times. If a student requires the original student certificate, he/she must indicate so on the form and can pick it up from the Faculty Secretariat between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on any weekday.

  11. The schedule for the first semester of the academic year 2023/2024 will be posted on the faculty website at https://www.cs.ubbcluj.ro/ no later than September 26, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
  12. After September 28, 2023, access data for Microsoft Teams will be available in the AcademicInfo account.
  13. Beginning on September 21, 2023, dorm assignments will be posted in the personal AcademicInfo account.
