Target Group / Addressees  Graduates in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics 
Entrance Conditions  Graduate student recruitment is achieved by competition. The overall three/fouryear undergraduate average grade and a personal portfolio, for candidates with a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Mathematics, Physics Mathematics or Economical Computer Science and respectively the grade of a written test (see the curricula here) and a personal portfolio, for candidates outside the above mentioned areas. 
Further Education Possibilities  The master’s programme aims at providing students with the appropriate tools for further doctoral studies and professional activity. 
Description of Study  Teaching modern mathematics and carrying out various training programmes and methods; drawing up and assessing methods and textbooks for primary and lower secondary education; planning and evaluation of teaching/learning processes, as well as in research methods applied to modern mathematics.

Purposes of the Programme  This Master Programme has the purpose of broadening the horizon of knowledge and raising the level of competence in Mathematics and in teaching Mathematics. 
Specialization / Area of Expertise  Teacher of Mathematics (different levels), researcher in Mathematics 
Extra Peculiarities  Statistics, Mechanics, Astronomy, Computer Science 
Practical Training  In the 2nd year (4th semester) of the programme the students participate in activities in secondary schools and high schools. 
Final Examinations  Dissertation Project 
Gained Abilities and Skills  The master students are supported in developing skills of investigation, aiming to increase their concern for documentation and research work. Also, teaching skills are developed. The bilateral transfer of information and ideas between teachers and master students are encouraged 
Job Placement, Potential Field of Professional Activity  After graduating, the employment opportunities are increased in teaching at different levels: secondary schools, high schools, post high schools and universities. Also, they can perform guidance and control activities at School Territorial Inspectorates.
