Computer science:

Our areas of expertise/interest and some of the most important publications are given below:

  • design, development and application of computational paradigms inspired from biology, linguistics and social sciences; fuzzy systems, neural networks, nature inspired cognitive systems and hybrid intelligent systems; machine learning and intelligent data analysis with applications in natural sciences, medicine, health, bioinformatics, software engineering, text quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • information extraction from various collections of data-sets; for an exact and accurate information retrieval from the empirical data, we model the data generation and collection process using numerical modelling and a convenient mathematical toolset; the formalised modelling of data allow the information to be re-used for predicting and decision making.
