2017. március 22. és 24. között zajlott a XV. PRO INVENT Nemzetközi Tudományos, Innovációs és Találmányi Kiállítás, ahol BBTE-s kutatókat díjaztak. A Babeş–Bolyai Tudományegyetem standjánál kiállított „A kémiai folyamatok hőmérsékletének és pH-jának valós idejű, távmonitorizálása különböző eszközökre (személyi számítógép, táblagép, okostelefon) telepített informatikai alkalmazások segítségével” című innovációt az Euroinvent Nagydíjával és Serleggel jutalmazták. Emellett a BBTE a Iuliu
