2017. december 12-én a Matematika és Informatika Karon kerül sor az IBM cég képviselői által tartott IBM Cloud Solution Overview. Cognitive services című előadásra, amelynek során megismerkedhetünk a neves cég által az egyetem és a hallgatók számára felkínált legújabb lehetőségekkel, illetve az általuk kifejlesztett IBM Bluemix vagy IBM Watson Services új szoftvermegoldásokkal.

A bemutató előadás kedden 12:00 és 14:00 óra lesz a Babeș–Bolyai Tudományegyetem főépületének 5/I-es (Tiberiu Popoviciu) előadótermében.

Abstract:

We will start the presentation by looking at the advantages offered by IBM for the Universities and their students and then we will be looking at some of the most interesting features of IBM Bluemix cloud platform focusing on the aspects that are interesting for developers. Some of the topics we’ll cover are around programming languages in Bluemix, modern and flexible no-sql data storage, micro services architectures and of course IBM Watson Services for cognitive computing. We will see together how Bluemix provides a solid cloud platform and service ecosystem, where your applications can orchestrate multiple services to achieve superior results.
