In accordance with the admission regulations of Babeș-Bolyai University, the following fees are charged for participation in the entrance examination:

• The processing fee is charged for the organizational and communication aspects. The exemption regulation does not cover this fee, and it is also non-refundable.
• The registration fee. Employees and children of employees of UBB, the Central University Library, and children of active or retired employees of university and pre-university educational institutions are exempt from paying the registration fee.
• The admission fee consists of the registration fee and the processing fee. The following groups of people are exempt from the admission fee: Applicants who are orphaned by one or both parents; children from single-parent families; young people from placement centers up to the age of 26; and individuals who are vulnerable due to illness, disability, or poverty and are unable to meet their daily living needs. The exemption from the payment of these fees is based exclusively on the evidence provided by the applicant at the time of enrollment in accordance with Annex 2 of the Admission Regulations for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs at Babeș-Bolyai University, supplemented and republished on the basis of Senate Resolution No. 40 of 18.03.2024.

The fees are to be paid exclusively via the admissions platform. In case of withdrawal from the admission competition or from the study program, both fees are non-refundable. The amount of the fees is 50 RON (processing fee) and 350 RON (registration fee).
