Dear students

Within the Competitiveness Operational Program, Babeş-Bolyai University signed a financing contract for the implementation of the TIC4UBB project, ID 144800.

For a limited time, the project purchased 2000 laptops with an included Internet connection.

To be eligible to receive a laptop, BBU students must cumulatively meet the following conditions:

1. to be full-time students enrolled in one of the faculties of Babeş-Bolyai University, pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
2. They are recipients of a social aid grant and/or a temporary social scholarship

Students interested in applying for a laptop for a limited period of time must complete and sign:

• Annex 1: an application form for registration in the project’s target group, respectively, an agreement for the processing of personal data,

and then to send them to the e-mail address: iulia.brie@ubbcluj.ro.

If the number of laptops is less than the number of eligible applicants, there will be a selection process according to the attached methodologies.

Please be aware that you will receive the laptops as long as you consistently meet the aforementioned eligibility requirements.

Target group selection calendar

• May 13–17, 2024: Submission of intent by students
• 20 May 2024: Presentation of preliminary lists
• May 21, 2024: Appeals are received.
• May 22, 2024: Settlement of appeals
• On May 23, 2024: Appeal results, and final lists will be displayed.
