Starting with 2012, the written bachelor exam was introduced again. On the faculty website one can access: Regulations, News, Manuals and Samples of subjects from previous years.
As with the bachelor exam, there are, each year, two sessions: July and September. This exam consists in defending the Disertation Thesis (aka. Master Thesis). More details can be seen here.
The admission contest was reintroduced starting from 2010 *. Between 2013 and 2015 there were both July and September sessions. In the last couple of years all there were no places left available after the July session.
Since 2013, our faculty is organizing the UBB Pre-Admission Contest. This competition is mainly addressed to 11th and 12th grade high school students who want to try their best in order to be admitted to the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Babeş-Bolyai University.
