Wolf Dance

This is intended as a collaborative project. I’ve already launched it on Facebook, and people have contributed with stanzas.

I warmly invite you to contribute with a new stanza in any language you prefer.

Wolf Dance

Dancing with wolves, I've learned to sing
In shades of red from the earth's deep ring.
Running with wolves, I've learned to laugh;
A smile takes flight on a thought's behalf.

the English version

Dans de lup

Dansând cu lupii, am învățat să cânt
În culori de roșu și de pământ.
Fugind cu lupii, am învățat să râd;
Îmi tresare un zâmbet, pe-o aripă de gând.

the Romanian version

Tanz des Wolfes

Tanzend mit Wölfen, habe ich singen gelernt,
In Farben von Rot und Erdensand entfernt.
Rennen mit Wölfen, habe ich Lachen entdeckt,
Ein Lächeln erwacht, auf Gedanken versteckt.
