- @media all and (max-width: 500px) – this is the feature used to specify the layout-attributes if there are less pixels than 500 (in this case);

- - em units used in *.css files. The em unit is equal to the computed value of the ‘font-size’ property of the element on which it is used. If I have font-size set to 20px, then 1 em = 20px. The use of this type of unit provides to the style sheet a light-weight feature. Sometimes font-size may change, thus it can throw the whole layout off. Using em units get the rest of the elements grow/shrink relative to the font-size.
