Objectives
 
The objective  of the  5rd International conference on Applications of Porous media 2013, ICAPM2013  is to bring together various researchers from industry and research laboratories and to present the state-of-the-art in all research fields on porous media such as toxic waste disposal,  fuel cells, filtration, biomechanics, oil reservoirs; hydrology, etc. 

 

All subjects related to applications of porous media are welcome, which includes but not limited to: Biotechnology, Environmental, Oil and Gas, Geophysical, Heat Exchangers, Multiphase, Reactors, Double Diffusion, Natural, Forced and Mixed Convection and Bio-convection, Combustion, Radiation, Drying, Food Industry, etc.

 

The 5rd International conference on Applications of Porous media 2013 being announced here will take place four years after DJERBA (Tunisia) and two years after EVORA (Portugal) in the famous historical city  of MARRAKECH (Morocco) , 2006; World city, Istanbul, 2011.

 

Cluj-Napoca is one of the oldest cities in Romania. Today it is one of the most important academic, cultural, industrial and business centers in Romania. The architecture and the culture of the city were influenced by German and Hungarian cultures. The city is frequently visited by many tourists, due to its cultural objectives and surrounding landscapes.
