Author Guidelines

Take into consideration the following issues:

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.

The manuscript should not exceed 18 pages.

We publish just one accepted paper of an author per year.

We mention that members, PH.D. students and close collabotators of Babes-Bolyai University have priority in publication.

Titles should be brief and appropriate for indexing and should specifically describe the content of the paper.

An abbreviated title, which will be used as a running head, must accompany all articles and must consist of no more than 50 characters (including spaces).

An abstract not exceeding 250 words that summarizes the principal techniques and conclusions of the manuscript in relation to known results must accompany each manuscript. Mathematical formulas and bibliographic references should be kept to a minimum; bibliographic references must be written out in full.

Mathematical Subject Classifications (MSC) and Keywords have to accompany the manuscripts.

Figures have to be consecutively numbered and cited in the text. Accepted formats for the figures are: .ps,.eps,.jpg.

All the references should be cited in the text of the paper.

All the references should be written using AMS Journal Abbreviations (http://www.ams.org/msnhtml/serials.pdf).

References should be listed in alphabetical order at the end of the manuscript. The following reference's styles should be used:

[1] Ziv, J., Lempel, A., Compression of individual sequences via variable-rate coding, IEEE Trans. Inf. Theory, 24 (1978), no. 1, 530-536.

[2] Cormen, T., Leirson, C., Rivest, R., Introduction to Algorithms, McGraw-Hill, MIT Press, New-York, 1990.

  2. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  3. All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
