EMODA Workshop
ISDA'09 - 9th International Conference on Intelligent System Design and Applications
Session Details:
Optimization problems occur often in our daily life. In a multiobjective
optimization problem (MOP) many (sometimes conflicting) objectives have to be
satisfied simultaneously.
Computational Intelligence approaches have proved their efficiency in dealing
with problems having more than one objective. Over the past few years there
has been an explosion with respect to the interest in Multiobjective
approaches and the number of publications generated increases each year. At
almost each conference on Evolutionary Computation there is at least one MOEAs
section.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers working on MO to
discuss about their work and to exchange research ideas in this field.
Topics include, but are not limited
to:
Theoretical developments:
Unconventional Computing for Optimization
Swarm Intelligence for
Multiobjective Optimization
Computational Intelligence for multiobjective optimization
Hybrid approaches for multiobjective optimization
Large scale multiobjective optimization
Comparative studies of multiobjective approaches
New Algorithms for Multiobjective Optimization
Test Data for Multiobjective Optimization Algorithms
Performance Measures for Multiobjective Optimization Algorithms
Real world applications of MOEAs:
Control and
Automation
Bioinformatics
Networking
Data Mining
E-commerce applications
Internet Modeling,
Communication and Networking
Decision Support Systems
Information Retrieval
Other Engineering
Applications
Authors are invited to submit papers through ISDA 2009 web site. Papers are up to 6 pages and must be formatted according to the IEEE Journal format. The Proceedings will be published by IEEE CS Press. A number of selected high quality papers will be published in special issues of several international journals. Current list:
