Aims
To get acquainted with the problems related to image processing and with the way they are dealt with in different existing systems.
Content
The image processing course consists of:
- digital image representation (through picture functions and words, quad-trees and binary trees),
- image improvement (point and spatial operations)
- image transformations (contour determination, skeleton, thinning, morphological transformations).
