Obiective Aims

- Familiarizarea studentilor cu arhitectura principalelor tipuri de sisteme de calcul si sisteme de operare existente in informatica de azi si in perspectiva.
- Cunoasterea sistemelor de operare DOS, Windows si Novell la nivelele: utilizare, arhitectura interna, programare, administrare.
- Dobandirea deprinderilor de operare si de implementare a aplicatiilor specifice pe sistemele de operare DOS si Windows.
- the students will grab the knowledge upon the architectures of the main computing systems and operating systems for today and also in perspective;
- basic knowledge upon DOS, Windows and Novell operating systems at the levels: user, internal architecture, basic programming and administration;
- getting used with the operating skills with operating systems on specific architectures;

1. Arhitectura sistemelor de calcul si a procesoarelor
- arhitectura unui sistem compatibil IBM-PC;
- arhitectura microprocesoarelor 80x86 ; formatul instructiunilor
- limbaje de asamblare ; probleme generale
- intreruperi ; probleme generale
2. Sistemul de operare DOS pentru IBM-PC
- structura SO DOS
- formatele COM si EXE
- gestiunea memoriei sub DOS
- fisiere DOS si comenzi de manipulare
- sistemul de fisiere DOS
- procesorul BAT al fisierelor de comenzi
3. Utilitare si suprafete de operare
- suprafete de operare (NC)
- editorul de texte WP
- elemente de operare WINDOWS 3.1, WINDOWS NT;
- editorul de texte WORD for WINDOWS;
- virusi si programe antivirus;
- programe de arhivare/dezarhivare;
4. Sistemul de fisiere si protectia in retelele LAN
- structura sistemului de fisiere NETWARE
- conceptul de mapare
- protectie si securitate sub NETWARE
- comenzi de lucru in retea
5. Calcul tabelar : utilizarea aplicatiei Excel.

Evaluare Assessment

Examen scris si practic la finele semestrului.
Nota este obtinuta ca medie intre:
- nota de la lucrarea scrisa;
- nota la proba practica;
- nota pe activitatea de laborator (corectitudinea si consistenta programelor, elaborarea documentatiilor etc.).
Written exam and a practical session. The final mark is given as an average on:
- the mark given at the written exam;
- the mark obtained at the practical session;
- the mark obtained on the evaluation of the laboratories;
